Who will benefit from the training?
Any real estate professional can become a Real Estate Divorce Specialist,
including real estate agents, mortgage brokers, real estate attorneys,
and real estate counselors.
Does this training apply in all states?
Yes, the training provides a generalized overview of the legal
issues in divorce and does not focus on specific state laws. The
tax laws that are discussed are all from federal tax code and apply
to all 50 states.
Does the training apply to laws in other countries?
At this point, the training only applies to U.S. law.
Who provides the certification?
Certification is provided by the Financial Divorce Association,
Inc.
The Financial Divorce Association has been training and certifying
professionals to better help and market to divorcing clients since
1993.
Does this course qualify for Continuing Education credits?
Yes, if you live in Colorado, this course has been approved for
CE Credit though The Real Estate School, LLC, a proprietary real
estate school approved by the Colorado Division of Private Occupational
Schools. We are working with other Boards to get approved for CE
